Military
I entered the
Army in April, 1992 and attended basic training at FT. Leonard
Wood, Missouri. I then went on to Aberdeen, Maryland for
Mechanics Training and then to Ft. Benning Georgia for Airborne
School.
After Airborne
graduation I was then stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina
in the 82nd Airborne Division. Once at Bragg I re-classified
into a commo MOS.
In 1993 I won
the Soldier of the Month competition at the Division level.
I then went on to become the runner up for the 82nd Airborne
Division Soldier of the year. Because of this achievement
I was chosen to participate in the 50th Anniversary of D-Day
in France.
I left active
duty in 1995 and joined the National Guard. I am currently
assigned to the 1/183rd Aviation Battalion (Attack) where
I am a E-5 squad leader in the Armament Section for the AH-64
Apache Helicopter.
